Think about Climate Change
Many experts believe that climate change is one of the biggest problems facing the planet today. Caused by the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, left unchecked it could result in extreme weather conditions becoming more common, rising sea levels, reduced crop yields and an increase in diseases and pests.*
One of the major greenhouse gases is carbon dioxide (CO2) – and one of the major causes of CO2 is us. Our cars, our homes, the food we eat, the places we work - all result in the production of CO2.
Each one of us has a carbon footprint, a measure of the impact the CO2 we produce is having on the planet - and if we are to protect the planet for future generations, we all need to do our bit to reduce it.
